Nigress is a Black Metal project that was formed in the Winter of 2005 by Strevahn and Ominiun. Nigress combine Old-School Black Metal and Traditional Heavy Metal influences into a framework of dark and chaotic atmospheres.

The first Nigress recordings were the product of a cider-fuelled weekend of improvisational Black Metal jamming and are a true testament to how filthy and Necro Black Metal can really become. These songs echoed a kind of pure darkness and filth that few other bands could hope to achieve. Since then, Nigress has evolved into a full-project for which the two founding members are constantly writing new music.
