From ATL to the rest of the atlas, Ness is a virtual powerhouse. An army child originally from Albany, GA, after having moved around, has settled in Stone Mountain, GA. The many moves have brought him through various experiences and environments contributing to his next level lyrical style and tracks.

Ness has been rhyming now for seven years and producing for the last five. Ness has blessed his earlier tracks under the aliases, Nessessary, Ness Lee, and John Bravo. He has completed his debut LP "It's Just Me" released it independently and sold 7000 plus copies the summer of '03.

He is currently wrapping up his sophomore offering "All In A Days Work" which will also be released independantly.

Ness was a top contender on the battle scene. He has become a stable in the M.C.W.A.R. camp and is currently travelling with them and attending challenges in L.A.,N.Y.,N.J., and Philly.

Ness was chosen to participate in the Interscope Records/Showtime network cable series "The Next Episode", a reality show geared to find the next big rapper. He has battled against another young upstart from ATL and beat him winning the opportunity to travel to L.A. and battle against 4 others who won in their respective cities. Ness is in a prime position to stake his claim as a dominant artist and producer in the music industry.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
its a gift and a curse. im not the richest kid out there so when i sell my stuff online and it gets bootlegged, it hurts me. but at the same time, if you do this thing right your music can be heard worldwide. ya dig?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
the money absolutely has to be right. i'd rather grind from the bottom right now. i been on a big label b4. not what its cracked up to be for an artist like me.
