Joe's Bio:
Joe grew up in Riverside, Rhode Island and started playing drums at age 12 after watching a Paul McCartney and Wings network TV special. Played in a trio throughout highschool playing some clubs in and around the Providence area and went on to study at Berklee in Boston, MA. where by osmosis he started playing guitar, piano and writing songs. Moved to Nashville and luckily signed a publishing deal with BMG. Spent 10 years there before moving on to Tom Collins, Acuff-Rose and Murrah Music. My "latest and greatest" publishing home is with his old friend Todd Wilkes and Curt Jones, the owner and founder of Dip n' Dots Ice Cream. The new company is called Amylase Entertainment. Through the years some of his songs include THE NUMBER 1 COUNTRY SINGLE "IN PICTURES" recorded by ALABAMA on RCA Records and the THE TOP 10 SINGLE "SHE SAID YES" recorded by RHETT AKINS on Decca Records. Josh Kear and Joe have a song called "FOREVER SEVENTEEN" that TIM McGRAW just cut and a song called "SOMEONE IS ME" that appears on both KENNY ROGERS latest Capitol release and BLAINE LARSEN'S latest RCA release. JASON ALDEAN included a song co-written with Mike Mobley called "BACK IN THIS CIGARETTE" on his latest CD "Relentless" and LUKE BRYAN'S debut Capitol release includes our song "TACKLEBOX." Other artists who've been generous enough to record his songs include REBA MCENTIRE, DAN SEALS, JOE DIFFIE, DERYL DODD, DARYLE SINGLETARY, LINDA DAVIS, ROBERT ELLIS ORRALL, DUDE MOWREY, JEFF AND SHERI EASTER, MIKE WALKER among numerous others. His own versions of some of HIS tunes are included on the RIRN (Rhode Island Red Neck) Records debut release titled "Horton's Garage".
