Lyrics
There Would Be Peace If everyone knew their inborn goodness If everyone truly knew their worth If everyone knew their own magnificence Surely there would be peace on earth If everyone knew the light in Jesus Was the same light that shines in them If everyone saw the way God sees us Wed be like stars of Bethlehem Alleluia, Alleluia Alleluia, Alleluia If we could know that every humble heart Is the temple where God dwells How could we not love our brethren? How could we not love ourselves? And so this Christmas, let it be born in us Underneath our own bright star May we open our most precious gift The radiance that we are Alleluia, Alleluia Alleluia, Alleluia If everyone knew their inborn goodness If everyone truly knew their worth If everyone knew their own magnificence Surely there would be Surely there would be peace Surely there would be peace on earth Lyrics and Music by Jody Kessler (BMI) 2006 In the Moment Productions Recording Credits: Produced and Arranged by Rich DePaolo Recorded at Electric Wilburland Studio, Newfield NY and Beta Blue, Ithaca NY Engineers: Rich DePaolo, Matthew Saccuccimorano Musicians: Jody Kessler: acoustic guitar, vocals Rich Depaolo: bass, acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, background vocals Kevin Maul: dobro Patti Witten: background vocals Doug Robinson: background vocals
