"Ooh nice kinda atmospheric intro. Esoteric, Syd Barrett/Robyn Hitchcock territory. Gives me a nice floaty feeling in my brain, like after several hits of butterscotch schnapps." (Garageband.com)

Merlin and the Gnometones were a garageband from the sixties. They toured the US playing for small audiences, living day to day. They recorded over 70 songs using what ever equipment they could borrow. Recently, a tape was discovered with 30 of their original recordings. (Ironically in a garage sale) They have been digitally remastered and posted here for your enjoyment.
Seriously, I am a non-performing songwriter just trying to get his music out to people who may enjoy it. Most of it falls into the classic rock genre, but there is a little bit of everything here. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to listen.Have you performed in front of an audience?Only appearances at the castle.

i've been listening to some new soundclick uploads, and after sifting through a mass of noise, i was relieved to come across mr. haggerty. certainly pleasant by comparison.
