Mose Wanted is an experienced high performing multidimensional music group composed of acoustic and electronic talents and deals in styles and genres such as jazz, funk, fusion and soul. With its members all drawing deep from different styles of the creative pot and similarly coming from different parts of the country, Mose Wanted blends the elements of music to create a sound like no other. The group is lead by trumpeter Chris Morgan and vocalist Dacia Hobson, and boasts a dynamic rhythm section that includes: Ramon Casey (keys), Russell Grady (drums), Alex Grimes (guitar), Eli Namay (bass guitar and upright bass), Chris Singleton (percussion), and newcomer Di'Kobie Berry (vibes). Mose Wanted honors the pioneers of the music industry through its performance with well known traditional standards, but inspires others by creating bold new approaches to those standards. The group has performed for various musical events alongside various popular entertainers, most notably the University Park Jazz Festival, the Celebrity Golf Tournament in Tinley Park, the Cafe Harmony Showcase, and Monsieur Murphy's Blues. MW is currently performing locally across Chicago and is actively seeking performance opportunities.
