Title: Eclipse.BUZZTUBE
I am not here to showcase me but to show you some amazing musicians. 5 weeks ago I posted a blog about collaborating as a band online and if it was even possible. I posted a piano piece for anyone who wanted to add to it. I am so humbled by these 10 people. Here it is the final cut. It's called "Roads That Follow". Aside from me playing piano and some of the synth pad, here are the musicians that pursued this collaboration. ***Alex Lugones- Los Angeles- Bass Guitar***Andrew Malloy- Dallas TX- Soundscape Synth***Fernando Bretas Jr- Belo Horizonte Brazil- Synth Pads***German Fafian- Madrid Spain- Lead Guitar***Julia Rickers- Knoxville TN- Ambient Synth***Mauro Gentile- Mesero Italy- Rhythm Guitar***Moni Lopez- Veracruz Mexico- Synth Strings***Nick Ricciardi- Toronto Canada- Lead Guitar***Rich Almoguera- San Diego CA- Lead Guitar***Rob Bright- St. Lous MO- Electronic drums*** You can hear the song under Artist/Band > MWB Collaborations.

Hi again Alan, just a quick one; I think you might enjoy the 'left-field' sounds of Rigel Kent. I don't know if he's already one of your contacts or not ?

Hi Alan, I've just been listening to your piece, "Windbourne",

"I love the way this drifts along; both hipnotic and soothing in equal messure. Then it becomes slightly unsettling. Almost as if we are transorted to an alternative, 'Land of the Slippermen', from 'The Lamb lies down on Broadway' by Genesis. I like this one a lot Alan"

I've a few new tunes that you might enjoy. "Kinky Fool" (an intrumental) by Major Snagg and also, "Introducing Mr Finger & Mr Thumb" . . ."Welcome to Reality", both by Big Sleep.
I hope you'll have time to give them all a 'spin'.
How's the artwork coming along ? Tony's getting close to putting on his exhibition now. Hope to e-mail you some pictures soon.

best wishes, David

Hi Alan, very many thanks for all the station adds. I'll return when I've more free time, and check out your musical landscapes.
It's very nice to find another Bill Nelson fan too. I'm the first to admit that he's had quite a big influence on how I play, and how I approach musical ideas. Without his influence, I'd probably be still stuck in the land of 12 bar blues !
I recognise a few familiar names here; Sonic Dreamer and Astronomusic. I'll be putting a new piece up on my site in only a few days ! just need to find a suitable avatar. Ill give you a buzz when it's on my site (it'll be, by Big Sleep)

David

SEASONS GREETINGS to you and I wish you well for 2009.
Many thanks for previously adding my music to your user station. I am humbled.

There's a new track on my GARDEN OF SURREAL DREAMS page which may interest you. 'Escape To Your Dreams Until Morning' is intended as a musical meditation with a little bit of an edge to it. I've used a variety of all-acoustic instruments which are processed with effects for atmosphere.

INSTRUMENTS in order of appearance are:
Tibetan Tingsha's, Tibetan Singing Bowl, Copper Goatbell Tri-cluster (from Sweden), Layered Choral Voices, Hammered 12-string Box Zither, Spoken Voice, Magic Mushroom Woodflute (hand carved by flute maker Blue Deer Spirit) and the Cello (after which, the Tibetan & Swedish hand percussion elements re-appear).

I've also created a new image for it, from my own original photography.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to give me your thoughts. I hope you enjoy the sounds from my inner space!
SONIC :–)
