ukulelelady's SoundClick blog - The Promised Land
The Promised Land
Above is the latest video created on my computer. Those of you who know Gene Thomas are aware of his love and respect for our earth and creatures who dwell upon it. My son and I tried to visually express Gene's passion for dignity, compassion, honor and loyalty to our earth. Gene, Shannon and I hope you like it. Thanks for watching, danna

My friend across the sea with Hayley Oliver
I'm so pleased to post this song/duet with Hayley Oliver. It is a song praising Soundclick, the music and the music family who all support one another. It is about working together creating this beautiful music, and it is a testimonial of my admiration for Hayley's talent, and her for mine. We hope you enjoy it.

Somewhere
Latest upload:

Somewhere. Everyone knows someone who has died in a war. A family is torn apart. A usually young person's life is suddenly stopped. They are gone. This song means so much to me, as it does to it's writer, Randy Gould.

Many of you are familiar with Soundclick artist Michael Duran. His guitar expertise is beyond my comprehension, His visions are boundless. He is by far the most driven musician that has come into my musical circle. I thank my son for the basic track, Steve Layman for the fine piano and strings, and Michael for his time, artistry and energy. He made this final product happen. I'm thrilled at the end result. Hope you like it. The song: GUILTY

I have met such inspirational artists on this site, and I thank all of you who have given suggestions, praise, criticism and encouragement. You are my musical family away from home. Stay with me!
