I am real country to the bone. I grew up listening to my mother's record collection containing records from the 20s (Vernon Dalhart), 30s (Jimmie Rodgers, Carter Family), 40s (Hank Williams), on up through the 80s, but my favorite era is the music from the 50s and 60s. When country and western music was pure and simple, and real. I am unapologetically TOO COUNTRY! :-)

Having said that, I also enjoy LISTENING to different styles of music, including old rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, some modern country, some pop, disco, etc., but.... I tend to record only real country. Once in awhile I'll veer off and record a song that strikes my fancy, that nobody would expect me to! But it just shows a different side of my personality. :-)

I have four full-length albums out with my latest effort entitled JUST THE WAY I AM. It contains 12 songs of classic/traditional country and bluegrass. In 2007 I released a tribute album entitled "Salute to Loretta Lynn." My next album project is going to be a Rockabilly project. Yes... songs from the 50s rock 'n' roll era and some rockabilly songs.

Born and raised in Western Canada, I started singing professionally in Calgary before moving to Nashville in 1995 to further pursue my career. During that time I've accomplished a lot musically, and have had quite a bit of success, but you know how it is with artists/musicians... we're always wanting to do more and be better, never satisfied with the success we've already attained! :-)
