A few years ago for an art school project I created a short video on the work of Russian artist Casimir Malevich. [Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeuzAh8Wxug] I needed music for the video and used the the July piece (Crystal synth). It was the start of my interest in music creation.

Since then I have used the midi from The Season just to try out various software synths but I always had it in the back of my mind to be more systematic and work on all the 12 pieces. The starting point of the project is to create the 12 works in their basic form as composed pieces...
