One bad and two good news for this fall!

Begin with the bad one : the concert at Fleurus, the 3rd of October is unfortunately cancelled Sad

But two other new gigs have been confirmed Smile

Alucard will be playing on the following dates :

6th November 2009 in Laeken for the "Road To Rock Festival", Belgium

News 1 : Acoustic Gig delayed on September 18th

Finally Alucard will be playing their acoustic gig a week later on September 18th in Mons.

If you break any of these rules you will be disqualified.




1) Two entries per person


2) You can use ANY Anime/Game. Please keep it PG13... a little blood is accepted. No killing, hentai, yaoi, or yuri.


3) You can use any Alucard (www.alucard.be) song but it has to be an Alucard song.


4) All AMV's must be full length (the entire song).


5) AMV must be your's (you CANNOT use someone else's hard work).


6) No MEP = Multiple Editor Projects


7) You may use whatever video editing program you want.
8) The final rule and this is a must... you MUST use these tags: (song title), Dorian, Belgium, Alucard, Dark Romantism, John Fryer, fan, AMV, (name of anime or animes used in AMV), Vampire, and Dracula.... You can add more but the tags we just mentioned are a must.

Great news ! Three new gigs have been confirmed

The band will be playing on the following dates :

3rd October 2009 in Fleurus, Belgium
D and Joe's Birthday party : 24th October 2009 in Herfelingen, Belgium (Free entrance)

Alucard will be playing their first acoustic concert at "Livre ŕ Café" in Mons, Belgium for the first time on September 12th.

For those who live abroad, we'll be there to make a special coverage of the event as there will be totally new versions of the songs.

Coming from Mons, Alucard is a quintet founded by the artist Dorian and developing a visual and musical concept called « Dark romantism ».

Their first album is produced by world-class producer John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, HIM, Cradle of Filth, ...) and illustrated by Alain Descamps, graphical artist for Franco Dragone.

The « Dark romantism » isn´t born by chance and literally transcribe the hidden garden of a romantic author scorched by the wounds of an impossible teenage love.

« Confronted to the fact that I couldnt be with her, I started to write and unconsciously, I created a realm where we could be together. » - Dorian

Inspired by the Hells of Greek mythology, Christian eschatology and tarots, this realm transports us on a spiritual path leading to the flowering of the soul. A graphical and poetical universe pretending to become a piece of Total Art of the 21st century through several medias (Internet, music, video, pictures, promotional visuals and concerts).

Since its creation, the band tours with concerts from Mons (Royal Theater) to Klub Depo in Riga Latvia, and went in Studios all over Europe (ICP Studios in Brussels / Sound Division Studio in Riga / Redroom Studios in Norway) working with known professionals like Djoum (Indochine, Superbus, ...) and John Fryer.

In order to push the perfectionism to its limits, each album will provide an original concept and will create its own realm following the previous universes. The end of the first album features a reference to the second one, now in preparation.
