When in 1812 Napoleon invaded Russia he signed for his own downfall - from the barren grounds only 27,000 out of 500,000 men returned, more or less alive. The ones they feared the most were The Cossacks, Slavic people whose origins may date back as far as the 10th century. It is from a Cossacks' folksong Pete Seeger (1961) got his inspiration for 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone'. Using the theory of granular synthesis I recycled ( not a remix! ) it to super hifi stereo ( among other things ).
