Ever since I could remember I was “humming” a tune or playing guitar. This love for music led me to play in Antigua, Guatemala in high school. I studied Jazz with Michael Bennick of Jacksonville, Florida. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition from Nyack College, Nyack New York in 1982. While there, I studied classical guitar with Stanley Solow. In 1984 I began private instruction with Dr. Stephen Robinson at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. I participated as a student performer in several master classes at the Stetson International Guitar Workshop.
In 1999, I moved to Boynton Beach to help start a church called “Sonfest Chapel” and lead worship. I have performed throughout Florida at Libraries, Theaters, Festivals, Retreats, and other venues. I have “coached” several worship teams from various ministries, led workshops on worship and music. I have taught guitar, piano, voice and bass guitar for the past 7 years. My passion for students learning music has allowed me the privilege to teach many learners, from young to old, rich to poor, famous and not so famous...
