-I am Tillman Franks Son, Ben, (Tillman Jr) and Proud of it I am a Songwriter/Arranger and Composer. I sing and play original Country Music with a Cajun flair and do classics as well
A little about my Father Tillman Franks
Tillman B. Franks (born September 29, 1920, Stamps, Arkansas -passed away October 26, 2006) was an American bassist, and Songwriter who was also the manager for a number of country music artists, including Johnny Horton, David Houston, Webb Pierce, Claude King and the Carlisles.
On 3 April 1948, Franks made history when he played bass with the Bailes Brothers on the first night of the Louisiana Hayride Radio Broadcast. He later booked artists as head of the Louisiana Hayride Artist Bureau and was instrumental in getting Elvis to the show where he had his start. He also managed several acts, including Pierce, Claude King, Slim Whitman, David Houston, the Carlisles, Jimmy C. Newman and Johnny Horton-there is so much more.
As for myself--
I HAVE BEEN AROUND COUNTRY MUSIC SINCE I WAS BORN.

Hi,
Do you like Southern Rock? I thought I'd invite you to my page (just click my pic) so I can share some of the great songs that I've found with you and show you some good old southern hospitality.
I was surprised to see your name. I remember your Dad being with Johnny Horton in the accident in 1960 in Milano, Texas. I drove through there shortly after it happened. In fact, A friend of mine who worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in Milano, Texas was talking to me on the Santa fe phone line when he said he had just heard a loud crash and that was it! I have the TROUBADOUR TUNES website and go by the name of Frank Zaruba fromTemple, Texas. Best of luck. I'm still pushing my songs.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the friends add request. Your music sounds great and is the kind of country music that I like. Its a small world as my wife is from Louisana near a small town outside of Lafayette. Keep up the great work!
