hello, i live in montreal, canada. i program, play, record, and mix my own music. i use a mac, logic pro, a bunch of synths and a fender strat. i like all kinds of music. i joined soundclick to connect with other music lovers like me and perhaps collaborate.

you sing?: i'm looking to add vocals to my compositions. preferably male singer. if you sound like dave gahan from depeche mode or jim kerr from simple minds, then i'm interested to hear from you.

goodbye 2008: well i hope y'all had enough turkey and stuffing during the holidays. i know i did. looking back, 2008 was a very good year for michelle and i, with the arrival of our little charles. in spite of all the bad news on tv about everything from middle east unrest and wall street crumbling, i have a very positive outlook on 2009, at least from a soundclick point of view! music and video projects are lurking, friends i have met on this site are all great people and i welcome your thoughts and comments on pretty much everything that comes to your mind. peace and health are my wishes to all of you for 2009.

time sure flies: new baby boy, new resolutions, new fender amp, new sh-1000 synth, and finally some new tracks. new videos are in the pipeline, so come back to visit some time before year-end.

new tracks: i just purchased an old roland tr-77 drum machine and it sounds just great! i'm still going through some 80's revival thingy at the moment and added 3 new tracks in that genre to my artist page (check them out). i've been digging the old record crate lately for both popular and obscure bands of the early 80's and i can't get over how innocent and naive their pop songs sounded back then, but at the same time i find so much beauty lies in the simpleness of the song composition and the warmth of their melodies. and for some reason it seems every classic of the genre was released in 1982, go figure.

corporate video soundclip: new video in the video page. i was asked to incorporate sound to a silent video clip used for a corporate signature. it's the first time i do something like this. it's pretty standard, but it does go well w the images and all sounds were made from scratch. let me know what you think.

new video upload: my first attempt at creating sound and images. last summer i had this idea of making a trailer to an imaginary suspense movie. i spent some time learning imovie this winter and the result is this small video called "montreal nightmare". all sounds were programmed and recorded in logic, including the fake thx sound clip at the beginning. let me know what you think.

industrial landscape: winter is finally giving way to spring around here, so after a long hiatus i've been driving around this past weekend looking for spots to take pictures. i found this old industrial area in the east end of the city. i like old industrial sites. most people find them ugly, i find beauty in these rusty steel structures, go figure... pictures were loaded in the "industrial landscape" photo album.
