In memory of Tomas Bergman: Last sunday there was a death announcement for Tomas Bergman, Some of you may have noticed that I use two kanteles built by him. He also was a great friend and bassist who played on our 1988 tour with Kra, and our 1993 gig at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival under the name of The Runaway Kantele.

In spite of many hardships Tomas always was an upful person (to use a Rastafari term).

May he rest in peace.

BTW It's my first kantele, the one built by Tomas that you can hear on "The Return Of The Space Turkeys" on this SoundClick page, and also on "River Shore Song" on http://www.myspace.com/steinbockstani
