Calculus, basically it looks at instantaneous rates of change along points so infinitesimally tiny that their numbers actually approach infinity, and by this we can understand and compute quite a number of things, among them changing velocities and accelerations...and through use of what are called integrals, we can also determine the exact area under any reasonable curvature by literally calculating the area of rectangles whose widths are so tiny that they approach zero, which, once again, makes the rectangles so numerous within any segmented space as to also approach infinity in number. here is hoping your winnings grow infinitesimally large!
