Roger's Veiw From the Hills
As a Western singer and VP of the Western Music Association - Kansas Chapter I am always concerned with the advancement of our artists and music. The stranglehold of the Foreign owned music industry and corporate controled radio. There is a very large group of independent artists that talent wise blows Nashville away. yet there is no air play, promotion, labels, or management for most of these.
I am in the process of starting an online music news site. I am looking for people to feed news to me of their music genre' when I get started.
I also cut a CD 5 years ago at a time when my health was on a decline. There is many good points of the CD the best being produced by Jim Farrell and back up by the Diamond W Wranglers. I was not up vocally to the talent that was supporting me.
I am lucky to count these people as my friends and this summer I recut the vocal tract. Soon I hope to re-release SONG OF WYOMING. I hope you will order one when it is available.
