I played lead guitar and bass for a contemporary country and southern rock band for 40 years. I rarely perform publicly any more. I remain involved in music by writing songs...lyrics and music. I have become a very eclectic writer over the past few years. I now write in 5 or 6 different genres.

I am currently working on a very unusual CD. I am taking standard Baroque Classical Piano riffs and putting them to popular genres of music, such as Movie Theme, Reggea, Hip Hop, Country, Smooth Jazz, etc. It has been pretty interesting so far! The reviews and comments I have received on the 4 songs that I have completed...or nearly completed...have been anywhere from "Wow! That's really, really cool!" to "My God! What in the hell do you think you're trying to do?" Two of the songs have been posted here at Soundclcik for a couple of weeks (1) "Piano Purgatory" and "Hip Hopping Piano". "Piano Purgatory" is the one that plays in the background when you come to this page. I have 2 more just about ready to go. We'll see what happens!

I currently live about 30 miles from St. Louis, but will be moving to Nashville in the summer of 2009.

I take life serious enough to take care of my responsibilities, but not so serious that it makes me miserable.
