Title: Maltbie's Walk
Why do we do what we do, or believe what we believe? Some judge the materialistic as being all there is. But, where does the beautiful painting of artistic expression in canvas, word, music and thought come from? From where do we derive altruistic love and feeling for one another? The materialistic explanations fall far short of elucidation, let alone understanding of the incorporeal and/or supernatural and metaphysical aspects of our lives; so much so that the inadequate reasoning of the materialists becomes illogical and incomprehensible.

So, why these opposing worldviews? If you believe the material world is the only answer, I would ask that you open your mind to the possibility of your own self-imposed limitations. Does the well rounded mind limit itself? Where then does growth come from?

In my personal life, I have found music can be a healing balm, a positive motivator and a conduit not only to rational and logical thought, but profound worship as well. The music my Lord has given me to play and minister with, are in conjunction with my testimony, my life’s story, and the gifts He has given me.

Thanks and God Bless

Ron
I'm Back!: Hello friends,

Well, I’ve been back for a year now. It was nice being on the road and traveling, seeing the country and getting to be with old friends I haven’t seen in many years. I was doing what I loved (teaching), but I missed being home. Then, when I did get back last year, I had to go through two overdue surgical procedures, and it has taken that year to fully recover from those procedures.

I have had, during that time off last year, the time to write music and lyrics; but I couldn’t play any instruments during that time, due to recovery and therapy. Now, I have recorded two new songs. Both were progressive rock songs, and I’m in the process of recording some more instrumental...

Hi Ron, Thanks for the visit and the feedback, I was sure I'd uploaded the lyrics to that song, it must be old age creeping up smile :) I'll fix that, thanks for pointing it out.

Hi Ron, I'm glad to hear the shoulder's on the mend. I enjoyed listening to Hearts Right, I like a bit of prog rock, is that synth a dx7? (or software equivalent) and cool acoustic cut back section.

Hi Ron, I did a google search for some of the guys I have jammed with over the years and found you. I used to be in the band Paradox with you and Mark Smith back in Katterbach. I was the guy who didnt have an amp, and could not Play the fest with you all. It is pretty cool finding people that you knew years ago. I finally got my chance at playing the Katterbach Fest several times with 4 diffrent bands. It was a blast. You all did me a favor that time. It made me realize that if I want to play I have to get serious about music. I like the music you have posted. Maybe we can colaborate on a few. I still play guitar and some keys. Take care

Hey Ron: Thx for the message. I dont get to visit Soundclick often anymore. Sorry you had to go through that shoulder stuff, but happy to hear you're on the mend. I've been trying to get back on the musical track, but it seems nothing but interruptions whenever I try. Anyway, just wanted to holler at ya while I had the chance. -Ed

Hi Ron, how are you?
Even though you won´t understand the words, here´s a piece of our upcoming acoustic album. I´m sure you get the message anyway.

Title is : total konform

and it deals with the conformity in our society, of our all wearing uniforms, using i-phones, liking Lady gaga Music until the music market will tell us Lady Gaga is out....and so forth. Here it is:
