thanks. glad you liked the oldies. very interesting to hear your recording story. in my case its part 'you can't teach the old dog' and also the stuff i do is simple and doesn't require a lot of technology. appreciate the visit. take care.

Spooky sounding for sure! I think I saw someone playing a theremin on that show, Later with Jools Holland, a few months back. He seems to always have some...um...interesting performers/artists on that show.

The commute is only stressful at rush hour...which I thankfully miss every day.

I think the key thing using Mac/Apple stuff is remembering the various (and there are lots of them) input and output sources. Sometimes using a USB interface almost is overkill unless you have it selected in preferences and have the drivers. Logic/GB are both compatible. Logic uses 'bounces' which can be confusing at times, then again whole albums have been done with GB. Erykah Badu comes to mind and her album was chosen as a nomination at last year's Grammys. If you don't have it, try browsing through iLife 11, or any of the books or threads in the Apple community forums.

Yes, go slow and try before you buy (if possible). I've been talking
with a few about different software and hardware. Maybe I'll try and find an embedded survey about it and blog it?
Some software can be glitchy and unstable - seems like it's getting even more competitive lately too. Wish I still had my old Revox!
Have a good week, Rodz!

Wow...! 15,000.00 Pounds for speakers?? I bet they did sound great, but the sad truth is they probably wouldn't make me sound any better that the cheap ones I've got now so...I'd have to pass them up too! lol
We've been auditioning drummers for the last several weeks and although we've auditioned some real good musicians we just haven't been able to agree on one ...just something missing or not fitting until last nights session. After 4 songs it was a done deal... we found our drummer that we have been looking for! Celebrated at KFC until 2:30 am...
Have a good weekend Rodz!

You honor me with the “Pick of the week” on your wonderful site. Please know that I’m forever extremely appreciative for the support. Thanks for the review and station add of “Margins” & "Transition”. As I said before, your words are always elevating and detailed in nature. It certainly makes me in high spirits.
Your fan always,

[last edited on Mon May 13, 2013 @ 06:24 AM] Howdy Rodz!!
Thank you dear Rodz for listening and commentig on "I Feel You". Yes the mood and atmosphere in this one fascinated me too and I tryed to mantain that mood with my guitar play... a magic tune from Renee! Station Add on your "Funk n Soul" more than appreciated!!
I see you just choiced another of the "great" artist from the soundclick stage for your "Pick Of The Week": Ascenzion!!
"Mr. Jazzy-Al" was the first one that commented my "first" track here on Soundclick, so generous and encouraging to me... Just like you did to me!!
The weather here is similar to yours , I suppose, since yesterday only rain, cold wind, not so fine at all...., Hope you wil soon get your DAW gears completed and coming back to compose so that you will amaze us with your so enjoyable creations and voice!!
Wishing you all the best from Germany.
