My name is Ruth aka RnBMistress, I am a singer/Writer/Music Publisher and living in the vicinity of New York City. I'm the sole owner of my own music publishing company "Sultry Ware Music." License Affiliated Member With BMI Performance Right Organization. I've been learning and doing this business for well over 20 years. I play a little keyboard (still learning) but I'm not yet a professional at it, but I manage to get the job done.
My main genre's are R&B, rnb/jazz, Neo-soul, Soul, Funk, rnb/pop, up tempo dance tunes, and rnb/hip hop. I will try my hand at writing other genre's of music, but R&B is my specialty.

I'm an ex-member of The Songwriters Hall Of Fame, The Songwriters Guild of America and member of AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers.)
I've had many opportunities to collborate with established Artists, Songwriters and Music Producers. I've had the opportunity of pitching my songs to A&R Reps with Major music companies, such as MBK Entertainment which is Alicia Keys Management company and many others. I've also had the opportunity to pitch my songs to other established artists.
