49 years old, I have played the bass for 40 of them. I am currently in 2 bands in the Houston, Texas area. The Front Porch Band in Anahuac, Texas, and Ally's Smoking Gun in Houston, Texas. Both are mostly classic rock bands that cover a wide genre of other music as well. Although I played the Rickenbacker exclusively for 25 years, my main gigging bass now is a 1990 Fender Jazz Plus 5 string, however all my basses get their turn from time to time. My music influences are my good friend Marco Rendina with Bullet Train in Chicago (check their Soundclick page out!) whom I played with and wrote bass lines for many years, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Humble Pie, Allman Bros, it could be a pretty long list. Hopefully I'll get 20 more good years in the business!
