Big Rome, was born W.K. Jerome Higgs in a small town in southern Missouri. Moved to Arkansas with his mother in 1985. While being raised in Arkansas Big Rome was exposed and involved in street politics that led him to serve 3yrs in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Upon his release from prison he was known as O.G. Big Rome a title given to him during his incarceration due to the death of his mentor, Which led him to another mentor from California in a hood yall know as the "Jungles". He started a new movement in the south known as B.P.S - South with the blessings of his mentor Prince T. Rodgers. Big Rome and T. Rodgers vision is to teach kids to stay out of Street Gangs and to love themselves. Big Rome is currently working closely with T. Rodgers with the non-profit organization named Sidewalk University based out of Los Angeles, California. In 2002 Big Rome joined a community masonic organization known as Spring Grove Masonic Lodge which also contributes to the community. He later come in contact with music. He got hooked on making music the only way he knew how. He not only wanted to do it the old skool way he wanted to create his own style that would reflect on him and his past and also distinguish him from the rest. He wanted to not make a Gangsta rap album he wanted to make a hood album. Something that the streets could actually relate to. Even though Big Rome is a retired O.G. from the hood he do have a comedic side and he do crack a few jokes every now and then.
