I intended to progress recording last mon. but ran out of time. It has been started, ha,ha - I wrote this over 10 years ago! Keep watching. Maybe next week.
HP has been finished a while and is currently being promoted - along with myself, ha, ha!
I will have wires (the vid) part2 up on 23rd, an old love song called 'First Kiss' (very rough demo) and a NEW love song to finish prov. titled 'Just One Day' or 'Right off the scale' for YOU to LOOK FORWARD to. Plus my old tape search!

There's a female version too. Not a duet version, a real female version! Why is this? Well, er, that's because there's er, hmm - I have an idea for a country song, strangely, I first thought of over a year ago to be sung by a lady - no connection with any similarly titled song (I can promise you that!).

5 years on Soundclick:
Although I was a listener only for year 1, as I may not make 10, it seems appropriate to mark my 5 years here in some celebratory way. I have a batch of new material (eek, covers mainly) which I will put up as the day draws nigh, ie 10th Oct.

Our Canada trip:
I may add to this as time rolls on.
It was just 11 days but it was spectacular, if gruelling by virtue of the amount of travelling. Not to mention the stress of flying.
We flew Heathrow to Calgary after hopping down to London in the afternoon. We were shattered when we reached our hotel to be face with an early departure for Banff. So we had an 'early' night. (It was quite late for us!)
Highlights were whale-watching, the Rocky Mountaineer with bear-spotting and the lumberjack show on returning to Vancouver from Victoria. Granville island was quite nice as were some evenings out.
We flew home overnight with very little sleep after a delay and got back home early evening after panicking ...

Hi Peter, thanks so much for stopping by and for your reviews...I think you're right, a lot of my lyrics are metaphorical, lol. Words and metaphors fascinate me...it's always interesting to look at the same old subjects through different eyes or with a new angle. Hope you had a good weekend. Take care
