Pete Reilich's Home Studio Recording experiments..

(image: Max Peter "Pete" Reilich, age 8)

Born at UCLA Hospital in 1957, Max Reilich was the son of a farmer woman (Mary Edwards) & an estranged classical pianist (William). His mother despised Los Angeles so much after William brought her there, that one day she left & was never heard from again. Four years later, William was hospitalized with fatal cerebral cancer, leaving Maxie orphaned. He was age five.

Raised by his father's sister, a local piano teacher at Studio City, young Maxie changed his given name to Peter upon first playing small parts in local theater productions. At MTAC North Hollywood conservatory, Peter Reilich played Debussy & Copland at recitals and gained the affection of teachers. At age 12, Mehli Mehta (Zubin's father) made Peter his Principal Timpanist in American Youth Symphony (UCLA).

Peter was always placed in honors classes at school, including a full scholarship recipient at Interlochen Arts Academy, but became disillusioned with the education system & dropped out before completing high school.

Pete Reilich's music is independent, with influences including vintage Hollywood film scores, Modern orchestral, New Age Jazz & more. Having worked as a professional keyboardist since childhood, decades of experience playing pop-music has also left its mark on his playing.

Pete wants to create a band to perform at museums & other natural history venues.

Wonderful composition. The entire track flows so well as each instrument and elements blends seamlessly to create something wonderful.
