I was raised on the classics like Eddie Arnold, Dave Dudley, Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, etc, but there are several contemporary artists of which I am a fan. I prefer performers that stay true to the roots of country music. Some of the new country eludes me. I understand the importance of energy and impact, but energy is no substitue for the emotion that music should carry. To me, it's all about sharing pleasure and pain, misery and joy with an audience and creating an environment where a room full of people can feel the same thing at the same time. To be a part of that is amazing. I may never get rich at this, but I'll darned sure keep playing and keep on being true to the music in my soul.

The songs you will find on my radio station are my original works. I've put them out here to share them with my family and friends, so if you're reading this, welcome, friend. I apologize for the fact that the audio isn't studio quality (yet). I'm working on improving that, and I will reload the songs as I am able to create higher quality versions.

If you've happened by this site and have listened to any of the tracks I've put up here, I'd appreciate if you'd send a note. Don't be all sunshine and flowers (unless you really liked it). I enjoy a good compliment, but what I'm really looking for is the kind of constructive criticism that will make me a better musician.
