Born and raised in Macon,Georgia, mov I began playing music in grammar school. My first televised appearance was for The United Cerebral Palsy Telethon in Orlando,Fl @ the former Bob Carr Municipal auditorium, now the Carr Performing Arts Centre, in 1975, where I backed up Anson Williams (Happy Days) singing Rock Around The Clock while playing for Rick Sylvia and Tightrope http://www.thebuzzcatz.com/home.htm featuring a sax player named Danny Jordan who went on to play and record five albums for The Maynard Furgeson Jazz Band. I played for The Ruckus Band, a Florida based touring rock band in 1980 - 81. I currently perform for notable charities in the Central Florida area and recently did benefit gig for the tornado victims of Lady Lake/Villages/ Paisley,Fl last February (in the rain even). Most recently have been performing in the Marion/Lake/Sumter County area as Neil Cody doing acoustic based shows. I performed at the 2007 - 30th annual Skynyrd Tribute show in Jacksonville (Orange Park) both nights with Pat Terranova for the acoustic portion of the show. My frynd Barrylee Harwood (www.barryleeharwood.com ) made an appearance both nights as well... check out his site. Pat is a great songwriter and frynd and he and I have newly recorded (scratch tracks) that will appear here soon!!
