BIG RED GUITAR - FREE DOWNLOAD during AUGUST 2009!

My Beautiful Moon, (August, 2008) is also available for FREE

It was 1975 and I was learning the violin, there was a lot of music my teacher would rather I didn’t hear. I was listening to top 40 bubblegum pop rock and spinning 45’s and I thought one day that there was just had to be something more out there. Then Walk This Way came on the radio and everything changed. (though I hate anything Asmith did after 1979.) Next it was the ‘Pistols’ later Heart’s Barracuda. Later AC/DC, Led Zeppelin broke up and then I found out who they were. I’m at the end of 20 year obsession with LZ. Long after Nirvana’s demise I started to love them. Still do, but recently it’s been a lot of Incubus, but I love the indie stuff going on out there. All the while I was in different garage bands, friends and free beer. Now days I love qbo

My CD collection goes just 2 ways: Rock or classical. It’s as if I didn’t change much since that day I heard Walk This Way for the first time, the classical music reminds me of being 8 years old and saying, “I want to play the violin”, my faves now are Respighi, Holst and Stravinsky and the amazing arrangements of Carl Stallings.
health care: Health care reform - I hope the build a lot of good bridges because we're all going to be living under one. Reminds me of the depression story where everyone hid their money in a mattress.
you're a nut: HI there whoever you are, The person who has been downloading my songs, thanks, Im glad you found some stuff to like, For me a download is about the greatest success here on SC, I love to get messages, props, comments but a DL is the best since it means to me that someone liked the song enough to keep a copy. 200 DLs this month may not seem like a lot to you, but for me I'm really proud that somebody, somebodies, found something they liked enough to keep, Thanks again, spin'em all you want! But hey, leave a message on my board so I can see your page and hear your material too!!

Hi, thanks for the positive comments. Your right, classical leaves
its imprint. When I have lost my way from an endless re-mix, I
"put on the classical" and it clears my head out.
Also, thanks for pointing to gbo (Fantasma), they sound great. I'm sorry, I barely understand a word. But the feeling comes across,
and the playing is great.

Yo kev,

Actually I didn't go VIP (yet) I think everyone can change your profile page, it's the music page that needs to upgrade before you can decorate it.

In any event I ended up with 1200 plays over the two days (promo, additional song banner) $25. I might do it again for "War" at some point.
