Title: "Breakin the Beatz" feat Fenton D
- I was born at the 8th of May 1981 in Bochum, Germany
- 1987 I enrolled to the Steiner-School in Essen.
- With eight years I started to play the Cello while playing an instrument was part of the school program.
- In class eight I started to teach myself guitar, inspired by a teacher.
- One year later in class 9 I started to teach myself electric bass and joined a punk band.
- 1999 I played the main part in a class play and was responsible for the music of the production. In this context I started to teach myself Piano and had my first experiences in free improvisation on the Cello, the Piano and the Guitar.
- In 2000 I made my first experiences with professional gardening and farming in an organic context in a Camphill in England (Oaklands Park).
- In the 2002 I started an apprenticeship as a gardener in an organic garden in the south of Germany, half a year later I bought myself a Computer and started to produce my own music. In the same year I started to take classical Cello lessons again.
- In 2005 I finished the apprenticeship and moved from the south of Germany back to Essen and did different jobs, mainly for saving money for the study at LIPA.
- At the end of 2006 I moved to Liverpool and started to study "Popular Music and Sound Technology" at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts).
- I finished the Diploma in the beginning of June 2007.
- In September last year I started the BA (Hons) Music Course at LIPA.
I have been working on this Beat for a while and I was struggling on finding a direction on where to go with it. Except from the Sounds based on Samples like the Orchestra the Guitar and the Drums I created all Sounds from scratch with wiring up different modules ...
Second Internet Collaboration feat. Wellington "No Comparison":Story behind the Song
This Song was the second Beat that I produced and released for free download on this profile with the title Square Dance. While I was still working on the track I sent earlier Versions to my freind Wellington. A couple of days later I received an e-mail including the Lyrics and a brand new MP3 with his Vocals. I was seriously touched as well as fazinated by his way of putting the rhymes together, making them fit to my Beat as if the Beat was written for the Lyrics.
I had to take a while off of producing in my home studio since I had ...
First Internet Collaboration feat. Wellington "Wrist Chips":Story behind the Song This was the first Beat I made and uploaded on Soundclick. You find the story about the production in the "Without You - Full Song Info - Section". I uploaded this Beat in the beginning of this year and I did not do much about it. A couple of month later I checked my Beatz Factory Account and I found a post like: "Hey man, don't know if you are still around, but I made something out of your Beat - check it out".Since it was the first time I was really excited and the more excited I was when I found myself listening to what Alan made out of my Beat. Right from the start I knew, this can be something big and the next day I found myself working on a new Beat T
High Quality (Free) Download Links for all Beatz:
Hello World,

Second Beat with Classical String Arrangement - Free Download:Square Dance is one of the last pieces that I started off while I was still studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). As I started programming the piece it was meant to be a Beat for my Beatz Factory Project, other then the "Without You" Beat, which was originally made as a whole Production, including Vocals in the context of a Songwriting Assessment at University.
The "Square Dance" Beat was started off with the Orchestral, kind of Classical String Arrangement by using the quite simple Edirol Orchestra Plug In. As this part was mainly done, I started programming the drums and creating some FX Sounds to insert a ...
New Version of "Without You" uploaded - Free Download:
The song "Without You" including the lyrics was written for a song-writing assignment at LIPA. While I was running out of time I recorded the vocals last minute and decided not to publish the version. Instead I worked on the production of the piece, truing to make a proper instrumental out of it. (13th Dez. 2007)
After taking Yasu’s critics into account and listening to the file on different sound systems I worked a bit on the mix. First I fixed the stereo-image issue that Yasu mentioned in his comment, but I also did some EQing on some instruments as well as adding some slight compression and filtering on the m...

Working in a factory:
On Thursday I called the agency and asked them if they would have a job for me. I was really surprised as they asked me to do a nightshift right away. Due to the fact that I had to register with them first I did not manage to take this offer, but therefore they offered me a shift from 6-12 in the morning. They downside they sat would be that the factory would be half an hour car ride from Liverpool, but they offered me to use their transport service to get there. I never had contact with this kind of companies and I had a very strange feeling in the beginning, so I looked up in the internet and I found their page quite trustworthy.
