I was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada. I lived most of the time in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Then in 1985 my family moved to Palmdale, CA --culture shock!!! No mountains or ocean!! Fort Worth hasn't got them either. It must have been that last right turn I made thinking I was heading north!!!!
The most important people in my life are my three children and one grand daughter, my two brothers & their families. I am very grateful and blessed to have so many family members and friends.
I am especially thankfull for all the troops who are away from their countries, family and friends. My THANKS for all you are doing. You are all HEROS!!. My prayers are with all of you. If anyone would like to send things to the troops there is a web site called anysoldier.com Many have said just getting a letter is special.
Special thanks to Daniel Smith, Brady Redding, David Beckom, Russ Deane, Mike K. Darrin Allen & Beau Renfro for making it possible for me to have extra cd's to send to the troops.
My favorite places to be are the ocean and mountains. The ocean as long as I don't have to swim. The mountains as long as I don't need oxgyen to climb them.
My favorite animals are wolves, penguins, horses, dogs & my two cats Milo and Tigger.

Thanks for watching the Veteran's day vid. I did the song on a "strumstick" (3 strings) and when it was finished it had "soundtrack" written all over it..so i put Arlington together.
As for most people taking our freedom for granted, nothing is truer.
My Dad was a Lt Commander in Okinawa with the Seabees and i was a Seabee as well, serving in Vietnam. Most folks will never have any idea what those situations are like. Hundreds of thousands of young people giving there lives up for freedoms we enjoy today. I have the utmost respect for men/women in uniform...but i spit on leaders that start wars that are unjust. Soldiers trust that their leaders know what they are doing. Trouble is, sometimes they don't. Sad.

Carol! great to hear from you and have you stop by. I'm honored! My halloween video was pretty wild compared to my normal fare...as you may remember. I just try to flow with the times.. Not always easy for a 61 year old guy! Anyway, good to see that the "misplaced canuck" is still out there and doing well. No matter where you go, "Oh Canada" will always be a song in your heart and soul. Sometimes i watch NHL games just to hear the anthem! ( i grew up within site of Canada...from our barn roof..across Lake Erie)
Stop by again and if you haven't already, listen to my "Genesee" station..it has all my latest songs (newest cd) for the last two years.
I'm just now starting back into music. Have a great holiday season!!
