Awesome job on "Girl", and I also enjoyed "Let's Stop This War". You've got a great sound. I'll be back to listen to more of your tunes. Keep on rockin'.

Hey David,

Stopping by for a couple spins. I left you some stars. smile :)

I wanted to let you know that I just posted a new song that I think you will enjoy.
Not really very new though. It was written in 1847. LOL

It's an old Christmas standard.
O Holy Night (Cantique de Noel)

I hope I did the song justice. wink ;)

I'd appreciate it if you could give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

Thanks for your support. smile :)

P.S. I had to seriously rush the song to get it posted for Halloween so don't expect perfection. wink ;) I'm sure I'll wind up going back and working on this one in the future.
Enjoy

Hey David,

Thanks for listening.

I didn't re-record the vocals on "Slay the Dragon" but I did do quite a bit with them.
I double tracked the vocals and tweaked the compression, eq and effects. I pretty much re-mixed the song from top to bottom and made a few changes to the drum parts. I also rolled back the compression and tweaked the eq on the master.

I was wondering how long it would be before anyone noticed that my covers were gone. You're the first to ask.
I took them down to make room for more originals. I have several new songs that will hopefully be finished in the next few months. Sometimes it seemed like the covers were getting more attention than my originals. I might put some back up again but I doubt it.

Later

Hey David,

I just left some stars on your Harrison cover. Sorry it took me so long.
How's it going? I've been pretty busy myself.

I wanted to let you know that I uploaded a new song called:
"Without You (Ballad of Dona)"
It's actually a previously unpublished song written by my brother Paul back in the 80's. Don't let the title fool you. It's not your everyday ballad. wink ;)
I'd appreciate it if you could take it for a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

I also have given "Slay the Dragon" a complete re-mix. If you liked it before I think you'll really like it now. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I'd appreciate any feedback you can offer.

All of my songs have been recently re-mastered for more dynamic range and a less fatiguing sound. Hopefully this will result in a more pleasant listening experience for all.

More songs coming soon! smile :)
Thank you for your support.

Hi Dave:
Thanks for coming by and checking out "Ghetto Cruiser". I appreciate the feedback and you are right about the drums. Unfortunately, I have been using Yamaha drum pads(Roland electronic drums are on my wish list) which somewhat limits what I
can do drum wise plus I have no background as drummer but I am open to any suggestions as to how I can change it up aside from
using programmed drums( All instrument tracks must be played).
Thanks again and have a great rest of the weekend.

Best Regards,

Marlan

Hey David,

I just uploaded a brand new song called Saturday Night. This one is something a little different from me. No smoking guitar solo but plenty of other goodies. I think it turned out pretty good. smile :) I'd appreciate it if you would give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.
