Mic Mess traveled to New York September 21st to audition for Freestyle Friday on 106 & Park. It is a huge hip hop network that has been used in the past to serve as a spring board for up and coming artists. After partying in New York City until 6 o’clock in the morning the previous Thursday, he had to get up and be at auditions by 10 a.m. After oversleeping, and almost missing the audition, Mic made his way to the B.E.T studios in Manhattan, where he had to wait in line for 8 hours with no sleep, food, or anything.
