Gloria and Ian :
Bluegrass has it roots in Irish folk and traditional songs and was introduced to us many years ago, before Bluegrass was ever thought of. Usually when you think of Bluegrass now, you think of Kentucky, Tennessee, or North Carolina . . . not Canada. I've been proven wrong. Looks like Canada has produced some quite excellent Bluegrass folk. Drop in on our across the border friends and give them a listen:

Cancer:

2008 marks my 30th year as a songwriter...the Lord has given me nearly 500 songs in that time period...of all that I do, writing gospel music is the most fun and most fulfilling...

Quote from her web page, "The Lord placed a calling on my life that led us back here (Kentucky). 1 1/2 years after we came here He revealed His plan to me. Now I'm trying to fulfill that calling to go out Preach the Gospel through Music."

Real Good - - - Real Cheap:
I've seen and tried some good recording studio software. Cakewalk is good, ProTools is probably the best (Bill Ellis from the Flaming Embers likes it) but, I've found Multitrack Studio the best for the money. It's easy to operate, low on CPU usage, (unless you load some rouge VST's). You can download a working program from the website.
