I've been playing the piano since I was 7. I begged my mom (a piano teacher) to teach me how to play scales. Fortunately she let me take lessons, but I wish I would have practiced scales more! It wasn't until the 90's that I learned to play by ear, mostly thanks to Ron Thrall. And then just a few years ago I put all the music away and started composing my own stuff. Discovering Cakewalk helped me get started, and the guys on the forum made it possible for me to begin to figure out. Thanks especially to Reece, Bob, Rob, Greg, Albert and others for all their patient answers. And to Albert especially for encouraging me to keep going when it got frustrating and for being my biggest fan when the going was rough.

Hi Janet,
Okay,, I was let go yesterday by the city so I so kindly posted a new song called "Used to be Mine" to share with world. I can honestly say that it hurts quite abit but time will march on. I gave over 30 years to this town and when you get my age,, well, you know what I mean. I hope you enjoy it? Kinda says it all... I'm considering placing it on You Tube around the world... What might you think?
