Liz Arcane and The White Lightning started touring in 2008.
Working on husks of material hewn by Liz Arcane herself, they turned lovely nice acoustic enchantment into something with marginally bigger balls, creating a jazz/rock/avante fusion that references 1930s film, sequins and burlesque, and is also very very loud.
