Thorpe Hall Presents Myspace Page
All of the artists involved have donated a song free of charge to help Sue Ryder Care, Thorpe Hall Hospice. Some of the artists include:
Iain Archer, who won an Ivor Novello award for his work as co-writer with Snow Patrol. (his track on Thorpe Hall Presents is exclusive to the album)

Homespun, which comprises Sam Brown (who had a huge hit in the ’80s with Stop) and Dave Rotheray of the Beautiful South.

Classic songwriting is also represented in Boo Hewerdine, long-term collaborator with Eddi Reader (Hewerdine wrote her hit Patience Of Angels), and songwriter to Katrina And The Waves and Natalie Imbruglia

Peterborough’s music scene will be represented by bands including Mesh29

Thorpe Hall Presents is the brainchild of Maggie Horne, a nurse at the hospice, and some of the team behind the recent Randall Rootz festival, which saw dozens of bands take to Peterborough stages in the summer to commemorate the life and work of city drummer Mark Randall, who was cared for at Thorpe Hall.

ABOUT SUE RYDER CARE & THORPE HALL HOSPICE:
...Thorpe Hall Hospice offers care for people with active, progressive and advanced illness where the focus of care is quality of life. We provide specialist nursing and medical care and aim to relieve pain and other distressing symptoms.

It costs nearly £2 million a year to run Thorpe Hall Hospice and only half the cost is met by the local health authority. Therefore, fundraising is really important to us and Sue Ryder Care, Thorpe Hall Hospice relies heavily on the goodwill and support of the community we serve. Without this support we would be unable to provide the outstanding levels of care that our medical team achieve.

PLEASE SUPPORT THE GREAT WORK THORPE HALL HOSPICE / SUE RYDER CARE DO FOR SO MANY OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY BY PURCHASING A CD...

Thank You <3
