I am a guitarist/songwriter and was in quite a few bands when i was younger. I never found the time or the right outlet for my own material when playing live so have left it until now to start concentrating on my own stuff.
Although i am predominently a guitarist for over 35 yrs, i have also been teaching myself to play the piano,,, and both hardware and software synthesizers.
Now that i have my own home recording studio set up the way i want i have had to make the time to start getting my own songs arranged and recorded.
Its all been a huge learning curve and i am only just getting started.
"Come home" and "one day at a time" are just rough demos and are nowhere near mastering or mixdown, but its a start.....
Once i have gauged enough intrest from friends and relatives i will know which songs to get back to the drawing board with, and knock out a decent final version.....
I hope you like the songs on my main artists page, just click on the "kevin paul coughlan" ;link on the left and enjoy !
I will hopefully bee adding a new song every week or two,,so sign up as a fan and i will send you a email each time i upload a new song.
I need all the fans i can get,,,! !
Hope you enjoy my music, kev

My first song "come home " will be going back to the drawing board in the next week or so for a revamp as i have learnt so much about recording over the last few weeks that i feel it deserves an mot and new upload.
Saying that, my 2nd song " one day at a time has just been edited to add a string section and i must say that i am delighted with the outcome,,, what a difference it has made.
My latest song " how long " has just gone on my page and i am happy enough with it to leave it where it is,,,a bit more upbeat than my previous song so that should keep a certa...
