I made my first CD in 1995 in Toronto when they cost $20 each to burn individually. The process was slow and new and just begining to take hold in recording studios around the city.
I recorded on a 4-track with a drum machine, accoustic guitar and one mic. Then I had it mixdowned by myself then mastered at a studio and burned.
I sold only about 150 copies. It was fun I played all over the city promoting myself.

I recorded another cd in December 1999 in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Played at the Jam session for the eastcoast music awards. It was broadcast with east;link cable and played live through-out Nova Scotia.
Sold only about 100 copies
sent my cd to native radio stations I could find and gave then gave it a rest.
