I've been in the Muisc buisness for over 45 years. I started out singing as a child and learned to play guitar at 13. I've worked primarily as a musician but have performed in several Theatrical Shows as a principle, I have also worked as a sound and lighting engineer. I now run 2 internet radio stations Colorado Free Radio Durango an independent artist station and Colorado Free Radio Old Time Radio a station presenting Old Time Radio and historical broadcasts. At present I'm building a house for my family a labor of hate and love .

John's Notes from the Edge:
The cabinets are in the kitchen now and the stove and hood are hooked up. It's starting to look like a real house/home, now we just need to get the living room going and we'll be pretty much done with the downstairs. Winters just around the corner and there is still a lot of outside work to do to get ready, when you have livestock the work is never done.
The bachelor herd is growing and the does are starting to show up, soon they will be grouping up in to winter herds and heading up. Here's a picture of one of the bucks in front of the house.

[last edited on Mon Apr 6, 2009 @ 04:32 AM] Hi JG!! What a lovely surprise to find you on my music page this morning - thanks so much for stopping by! Always a special treat when I hear from you. Hope life is still great in Colorado and that you're now able to enjoy all your efforts and labors and feel proud of your achievements with your house. Do you still have much time for music or are you fully occupied with your livestock and other projects? I've downloaded one of your pics for my collection, a very nice one of a live performance in 2006. Take care & hope to speak 2 U soon. Rodz

Hi John! Great to hear from you!! Hope life's been treating you well...busy I'm sure with your animals and the house. We've just been having a pretty long, cold, snowy winter here. Will be glad when the weather warms up a bit. The recession seems to be hitting a lot of places, but we've been quite lucky. Just means that at present I can't decide whether to have building work done or to move house. The housing market is very slow and ppl just aren't putting their properties on the market. Guess we all have to sit tight. Will be very interesting to see what your new President will come up with. If things go well..send him over here, we're running out of patience with our government, lol! Take care, Rodz.
