I'm now living full-time in NEW YORK CITY in Brooklyn, NY at an adults-only community living establishment...I just bought a brand new NIKON D60 digital PROFESSIONAL SLR camera, 10 MP, with interchangeable lens capability, and a zoom Nikkor lens, the best Japanese lenses made....I'm on "ONEMODELPLACE.com" as "John David Thomas Photography" (272 photos by me there) ....I am self taught as a composer and songwriter and have a B.S. degree in "Music Theory & Composition", 1976, from Ball State University in Muncie, IN USA. I studied cello since age 9, and played in symphony orchestras (school, All-City Indianapolis, All-State Indiana, Purdue orchestra (1st chair principal cellist there 1969-71) and three years in the super-fantastic Ball State Symphony Orchestra where we went "on tour" and played in Emens Auditorium (3600 people and seats) in Muncie, Indiana and University Hall on campus there at Ball State, three major classical orchestra concerts per year from 1971-1974, where in the orchestra as cellist, I performed these major world famous heavy composers music (symphonic): Stravinsky (top 5 composer for the WORLD of the 20th century) doing his "EIGHT MINIATURES"; Rimsky-Korsakov (famous Russian composer)_ doing world famous romantic orchestral work, "SCHEHERAZADE" about the "Arabian Nights"; DEBUSSY (famous French composer of romantic music, 20th century) doing his beautiful and haunting "THREE NOCTURNES"'; VILLA-LOBOS, his "BACHIANAS BRASILARIS # 5
