"My Sandbox" is a selection of my old recordings and premixes of work in progress. "Stripped and Unplugged" are unplugged versions of some of my tunes. "Jonsson" is where you should look to listen to my newest work with full instrumentation.
Christmas project almost done:
Hi guys and girls...
Sorry I'm not much around these days. I have seen all your posts and I will visit you soon.
The main reason for my absence is that I am working on this years christmas compilation and the list of tunes are really long this year. Beside 5 danish tunes (one of them in english though) it contains "Let it Snow", "Mistletoe and wine", "Merry Christmas Everyone", "Rocking around the christmastree", and "So this is Christmas". I am still wondering if I am able to make "The christmas song" (Nat King Cole) - it is really art in its chordprogression. I might manage. However - once this is finished I will make up for my absence. And offcourse I will upload one tune each wee...
LIST/SHOW YOUR FAVORITE CONCERT DVD's:
I very much enjoy to watch a good concert DVD in sorround in our livingroom. There is a lot of good stuff in the stores, but there is also a LOT of CRAP ! So why not help each other by telling about our favorite concert DVD's here in this blog ?
So - don't wait - tell me what your favorite concert DVD's are and - if you have a link to youtube - add it too.
I hope you will help me extend my concert collection. In return of your favours I will make a detailed review on the DVD's I buy. First detailed review has been made. Check the words on Toto-Falling in Between.
New member of the family:
YAMAHA RBX250F - fretless bass - AND a close up view especially for Dale and Morten
Just stumbled over one of these in the blue paper. It's a yamaha RBX250F with one splitcoil pickup. It doesn't weigh much, but as usual yamaha has a certain quality even in their entry level guitars. I must say that I think I've done a pretty good purchase. Anyway - I wanted to test it, so I have added fretless bass to my instrumental tune "Moodswings Chapter One".
Nice to have the possibility to add that feel to some of the future tunes

Greetings!
I've been fairly inactive on SC in a while and it's not going to improve anytime soon. So much to do musicwise ...
I have remixed and mastered first 30 or so of my pieces and they do sound better.
This one is new.

Hello Lasse, thankyou for your kind comments about our latest, "Hunters Moon". I always remember the very good advice you gave me about mixing, (quite some time ago now). So I'm very thrilled to receive comments from you.
I've been a bit busy over the last few months, so maybe now I'll be able to catch up with a few of my soundclick friends, who I've not been in touch with for a while. So, sorry it's been a long time. I'm afraid I'm too busy for the CCBC challenge again. Maybe next year.
regards, David

Hello Lasse Thanks for checking out the tune.Yes,you are right. Its was difficult to mix this. The biggest mistake i did was that i created several mixdowns and then just took one of them and added more, then mixdown again, adding more, mixdown adding more..I did it this way cause there was over 120 tracks..5gb..and cool edit couldnt take it..lol..So,some part got that muddy sound, while many things got buried in the mix..i kind of regret the way i did it,but oh well..At least i got it done.Paul did some really amazing guitar work there and as a song it turned out pretty good i think.
Next time i will be more careful with the mixdowns..lol..
OK,have to go..Julebord med jobben i kveld..No idea how to translate julebord..lol..
Have a great weekend!!
Morty

Dear confused in Denmark, Thank you for leaving a message at Judies Mail Box......
I can see what your problem is straight away. It sounds to me like a classic case of attention seeking, ask yourself, When was the last time you took her anywhere? Bought her anything? Recalled the times you sat under the stars together and more importantly, when was the last time you told her you loved her? These are the things she needs to hear. I am confident if you follow these steps, you're relationship will be saved, as for your wife, I'd ask for a divorce
