Sorry...don't mean to whine all the time but I'm kind of using this blog as a place to vent since no one ever sees it here anyway!

Gigs with the tramps have been spotty lately...not many...last one was in MT Pleasant at Mardi Gras...went well for the most part...especially since the gigs are few and far between these days...easy to get rusty that way!

We usually get to play the county fair this time of year but they've cut out the entertainment as well as about half the rides attractions...seems to be the way things are going right now.

My new Les Paul is sounding good and playng great...it was a bit difficult at first to make the switch from a Strat to the LP but I'm starting to get it tweaked in. The only real gripe I have with it is that it has what they call "satin finish" on it and it is very easy to scratch...the back looks like hell because of my belt buckle...but...some folks pay big bucks to have their guitars "distressed" so they look vintage...I'm doing mine the old fashion way...by playing the damn thing!
