I grew up in a small Texas town in the Hill Country, near the Frio River. I was saved at the age of 9, but like many others, through the years I've kept part of my life away from God and to myself. I graduated high school and college and began a teaching / coaching career that lasted for 22 years. I married a wonderful girl in 1984, and we are still married, and have 2 beautiful daughters. For most of my career, you couldn't tell the difference between me and other men who weren't saved. Then in one of the towns we moved to, I met and very special preacher and a family that helped change me. They convinced me that I could sing in church and people wouldn't run out the door to get away. Up until then, I had only sung for the cows on the ranches that my father managed. That was in 1996, and I am still singing. I live in Ft Worth. My family and I will travel anywhere that God sends us. I am a licensed minister, and telling others about the love of God through song is my passion. I grew up on country music of the 60's and 70's, and my songs have some of those influences. I write many of the songs that I sing, but the traditional hymms and a few of the contemporary songs are included in my performances.

When you get the chance, can you tell me a little about the Christian Cowboy Balladeers? We are finally back home, after a 900 mile trip, and I am exhausted. Being with family though is the best!
