Jessica Amaro is recipient of the 2006 Pop Album of the year for the Los Angeles Music Awards, and again, recipient of Pop Artist of the year at the 17th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards, 2007 (the largest award show for indi artists!). She has also received the Singer Songwriter award for the Hollywood FAME Awards 2007. Jessica performed at both Award shows in Hollywood, which took place at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood.
Jessica studied dance and studied voice with Ian Garratt (who taught Shania) along with other professional vocalists. She has also studied Hip Hop, Jazz and Latin dancing. Jessica taught piano and voice at the Ontario Conservatory of music and was a teacher at Danceline Studios teaching dance.
