As long as I can remember I have always loved music and having spent my childhood years in Jamaica my first musical preferences were reggae and dancehall music, however over the years I have learnt to appreciate and grown fond of many other different types of music such as soul, funk, R&B, house, garage and jazz.
Having always been interested in the creativity and production of music I recently started to play about with some music software that I have on my computer along with other music making equipment. All the tracks that you 'see' and hear on my profile have been mixed and produced by me with of course help from the music samples that accompany the software and other loops and samples that I throw into the mix.
I try to vary my style with each track that I produce as creating music is also about experimenting and playing about with different sounds until something is created that is satisfying and pleasing to me and hopefully also pleasing to music lovers out there.
"Funky take off", "Bass Kick Tease", "Bass Grove" and "The Bass is the Boss" all made it to the top number 1 spot on the main SoundClick Electronica and House charts in 2008. Many thanks to all whose support help make it all possible.

Are you ever fully satisfied with your music before it's released? :
Be honest, are you really ever totally satisfied with your work before it's actually 'put out there' to the public ... OR ... do your moments of satisfaction actually begin when you start getting good and positive feedback from fans and listeners to your music? Before you actually release a song, beat or album is there always something that you think that you could have or should have changed or added to make your music a bit better or different.
My guess is that because most musicians aim to be perfectionists and are always striving to create that perfect song or musical creation then there is always something that they think should be changed or added to their music before it's releas...

We are sending you this message as you were listed as one of
Mellosonic's friends here on SoundClick. You might have already heard,
but we are sad to inform you that Chris J. Brown(aka Mellosonic)
passed away on September 23rd. We were friends with Chris and found
him a welcoming spirit. Last year we started an online band with
Chris, "3Fuzed", and worked on several ideas that we are sharing with
you now. We were planing on releasing this material at a later date,
but our plans have been sadly changed. We have decided to post all our
