Jamie Mallender is a 37 year old professional musician from Sheffield (UK.) He has performed for the last 4 years as the regular bass player for Tony Martin - the former Black Sabbath vocalist, and has toured the world extensively in this capacity - playing to as many as 15,000 fans at Arena shows. Jamie is one quarter of the excellent Eaglesqe - a 100% live band performing hits by The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival etc.. He plays sessions, teaches bass and guitar, is currently recording soundtrack music for film, tv and games and has recorded his own bass oriented instrumental album - "Return To Bass," available through CD Baby.
CDBaby describe the album as, "A bass guitar oriented fusion, crossover, progressive, instrumental album featuring a mishmash of genres, time changes and mood swings with a loose Sci-Fi B-Movie feel - more musical journey than virtuoso showcase, nevertheless displaying impressive chops."

Hey,
I wanted to let you know that I just posted a new song that I think you will enjoy.
Not really very new though. It was written in 1847. LOL
It's an old Christmas standard.
O Holy Night (Cantique de Noel)

I hope I did the song justice.
I'd appreciate it if you could give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.
Thanks for your support.

Greetings!
I've been fairly inactive on SC in a while and it's not going to improve anytime soon. So much to do musicwise ...
I have remixed and mastered first 30 or so of my pieces and they do sound better.
This one is new.

Jamie, it is truly a pleasure to meet you my friend, you are an amazing talent. Thank you for the kind words. If I can ever be of assistance to you or Mr. Martin, you know how to reach me. Tony is an excellent vocalist & my favorite of the Sabbath singers. The only Sabbath albums I own are TYR & Headless Cross, so I know exactly who he is. Best of luck with the CD. I will definitely look for it please keep me informed.
Take care,
Alex
