When, after 59 years of use, the marble steps leading into the lobby of this building become worn, they are not replaced or rebuilt, but covered for protection with plates of corrugated iron.

Hi Jamey, thanks for dropping by, and the cool comment, i had been working on this a few years before I ran into Irene, every once in a while i would pull this out and work on the chord progressions and instrumentation, always to get frustrated with it and pack it away , last month i reworked the chord progressions and added more piano arrangement, picked up the tempo slightly , and Irene sent her vocal arrangement to Robert , just an amazing voice this girl has

Hello, my dear friend. I have uploaded my own version of "The Water Is Wide", sung by my friend Hilde Myran. My friend Kjetil Veum, playing drums (brushes) while I arranged the song and play the other instruments. Hope you'll stop by and listen to it. Hilde sings really nice.
