Born in Vancouver, BC, raised in Richmond. Graduated from Steveston High in 1975. I think dinosaurs still roamed the earth then. Worked at the Vancouver Public Library for 8 years after graduation. Moved to Victoria, got married, had two daughters. Worked at CHEK Television, Oldies 900 AM radio, and then left those "day" jobs to teach guitar and write music for television, which I have been doing since 1993.
As for Soundclick, all of a sudden I have had many requests for friends and I'm not used to how this works. I hope you'll read this before you ask to be added to my friends list. If you are genuinely interested, I'm happy to. If you are simply collecting friends, I'm sure you can find lots of others who will.

Thanks for the add!
Dinosaurs? What dinosaurs? Ha, ha!!
You must be enjoying the Soundclick experience, almost 10 years - it's quite addictive!
Best wishes,

Happy Halloween!!!
Do you want to hear something really scary? Of course you do!
New song posted called "Swampman Coming".
Check it out when you get a chance but don't blame me for your nightmares!

Or just click my pic and visit my page to hear it.

P.S. I had to seriously rush the song to get it posted for Halloween so don't expect perfection. I'm sure I'll wind up going back and working on this one in the future.
Enjoy

Hey,
I just left you some well deserved comments and stars.
How's it going? I've been pretty busy myself.
I wanted to let you know that I uploaded a new song called:
"Without You (Ballad of Dona)"
It's actually a previously unpublished song written by my brother Paul back in the 80's. Don't let the title fool you. It's not your everyday ballad.
I'd appreciate it if you could take it for a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

I also have given "Slay the Dragon" a complete re-mix. If you liked it before I think you'll really like it now. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I'd appreciate any feedback you can offer.
All of my songs have been recently re-mastered for more dynamic range and a less fatiguing sound. Hopefully this will result in a more pleasant listening experience for all.
More songs coming soon!
Thank you for your support.
Gordy
