Artist: Bob Nicholson
Title: Lady of the Light
Singer/songwriter Bob Nicholson, a veteran musician, from the New Jersey Highlands area has been performing his “American Acoustic” music throughout the tri state area. From the time of his first audition on the “Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour”, Bob has enjoyed playing guitar in various popular local bands. After numerous failed attempts to put a working band together, he set out on his own playing solo and opening or sharing the bill with artists such as Sloan Wainwright, The Kennedy’s, Cliff Eberhardt, John Sheehan and others.

Also an accomplished producer/recording engineer, Bob is the proprietor of a multimedia group, Hyde Music, which consists of a recording studio, music publishing (ASCAP) and an independent record label.

As the rebel he is, Bob's currently allowing free downloads of his material as his gift to all the listeners throughout the years as his way of giving back and thanks to all those who want to listen to his music.
It's Been a Good Week!: They say to get a little gain you must suffer a little pain..... Well we had an early snow and the power was out with no heat or water for 3 days before it was restored.... not nearly what the hurricane victims in Galveston and New Orleans but enough to make me realize how lucky I was., but it was cold with temperatures going down at night to the mid 20's..... But through all that "Lady of the Light" has gone to number 1 for the sixth time in a roller coaster ride at Neil Young's Living With War site. The Lady has been consistently in the Top10 for close to 10 months now....... Also here at SoundClick 2 of my songs reached new highs.

Hey Bob,

WOW!!! How about that!!

Today, you are... # 348 - #54
and I'm ............ #351 - #55

Not sure why I would have been #272 in Acoustic yesterday, compared to you #369.

I've never actually look at the charts.... Usually I just check out the charts through Band Administration.... but will do so in future, just to check out where WE are in the charts.... Quite odd that it's been going on for over 18 months......

I just had a quick listen to 'Lady of the Night'.... It's a lovely song.... I will be back to listen to your other songs later today....

A pleasure to meet you.

Susan

Hi Bob...Good to hear from ya. Never got your message. Actually, i sent you one after our last communication on 7/8...it's in your message center and on my end it says it's still unread.
Exciting news about writing songs for bigtime acts like the J bros...
hope that works out. One good hit and you'd be set. They're huge...right in there with Hannah Montana. Millionaires.
Not sure what album song you are talking about. The SS comp?
The new guitar sounds very cool. It will be happy in your care, i'm sure and spawn many a new song. I need some of those...the tune i just posted is my last....and was written and recorded last April.

Too much other stuff to do...and summers are short. Check your mailbox and send a link if there is something ya want me to hear.
Enjoy it all...

Man i hate when that happens! Somehow the enthusiasm really wanes when ya gotta re-write....but oh well...it's the thought that counts. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your opinion on the tune. I have a long way to go on my engineering and production skills but hey...ya gotta start somewhere. Hope your Christmas is relaxing and full of laughter. I'll be back around New Years with a new tune. Take care man...
